Here's a Great Website!

I've been using Google Earth to map out a lot of my runs this last year, but now I've found a site that is much better. It's called "Map My Run" and I will be using this to map out all of our long runs this semester.

I also use this site for planning out my shorter 5-6 mile runs during the week. What's really cool about the site is that you can create a personal account, design a running route and then save the route if you really like it. Then you can share that route with other runners.
For example: Here's a little 6 mile loop through the hills of Caughlin Ranch that JBird and I will be running this afternoon.
Check out MapMyRun, and we can all start sharing our favorite routes.

Need a little challenge?

How about running 50 Marathons in 50 States in 50 Days?

By the grace of God...

Believe me when I tell you that any marathon is every bit as much a spiritual journey as it is a physical one--as you will soon discover.

To run a marathon (or even a half-marathon) is very possibly the most difficult physical challenge you will ever face in your life. But by the grace of God and consistent dedication to proper training, nutrition, and weekly goals...you will be able to do it!
I will be posting a regular training schedule for all runners soon.
I challenge you to rise above the mediocrity of everyday life and do the impossible!
